Veggie Oyako Don
Oyako Don is a staple rice bowl in Japan. Made with Chicken & Egg (familial = Oyako), the topping is cooked in onion and soy sauce broth. This Vegetarian version replaces both Chicken & Egg with Soya-family (Soy Sauce & Soy Protein) ingredients for Plant-based goodness!
Adjust quantity to your preference

|Soy Sauce||1 Tbsp|
|Vegetable Broth (concentrate)||1/3 Tsp|
|Plant-based Egg Mixture||70 g|
|Steamed Rice||1 Cup|
|Shichimi Togarashi (chili flakes)|
- 1. Prepare Plant-based Egg Mixture following package instructions. Aim for a very soft scrambled egg.
2. Prepare Broth by adding all seasonings in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
3. Add Onion Slices and “Veggie Chicken Teriyaki” into Broth, and cook until tender.
5. Add Plant-based Egg in Broth, and serve on a bowl of rice with garnish.
