[Field Marketing Representative]
The Field Marketing & Sales Support Representative is responsible for promoting company products and strengthening customer relationships within the Japanese food market across Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and the Montreal area. This role focuses on in-person outreach to restaurants, retail stores, and food service businesses, providing product information and samples, identifying new business opportunities, and gathering market insights to support business development and sales growth. In addition to field marketing, the position provides essential sales, administrative, and reporting support by maintaining customer communication, following up on inquiries, sharing feedback on market trends and competitors, and assisting with internal projects. The role also supports events, trade shows, and operational tasks as needed, contributing to overall team success through a flexible, hands-on approach.

Field Marketing Representative – East Coast Branch
Terms of Employment:
6 months (From May 11th, 2026, or after), 40 hours per week
Wage Range:
$18.25 ~ 20 per hour (depending on experience)
Regular Work Hours:
Monday–Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm (8-hour shift)
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Field Marketing & Business Development
- Visit restaurants, retail stores, and food service businesses that serve Japanese food to introduce and promote company products.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Provide product samples, flyers, and basic product information to support sales.
- Identify potential new customers and business opportunities in assigned territories.
- Share customer feedback and market needs and trends with the internal team.
- Sales & Account Support
- Support sales activities within assigned territories (Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Montreal areas).
- Assist in achieving sales targets by promoting products and encouraging orders.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and provide basic support.
- Assist with following up on customer inquiries.
- Help introduce new products and promotions to customers.
- Escalate customer issues to the appropriate team when needed.
- Basic Reporting
- Provide simple updates on customer visits and sales activities.
- Share general feedback on market trends and competitor products with the team.
- Administrative Support
- Perform basic data entry and maintain customer information as needed.
- Assist with responding to general emails or phone inquiries.
Team & Project Support - Assist with product sampling, events, and trade shows.
- Support company projects such as e-commerce or marketing initiatives when needed.
- Help with occasional operational tasks (e.g., sample delivery, basic labeling) when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or related field is an asset.
- Driver’s license
- Ontario Food Handler Certificate or equivalent (probeit.ca food safety training and certification) is an asset
- Business-level fluency in English
- Proficiency in MS office
- Has knowledge of Japanese foods
- Able to speak and/or understand Japanese would be an asset
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to work occasional overtime as required
