Logistics Worker – East Coast Branch
Terms of Employment:
Full-Time (Permanent)
Wage Range:
$20.19-20.77 per hour
Regular Work Hours:
Monday–Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Logistics (Receiving, Stocking, and Releasing)
- Offload / Receive products or Office supply, materials.
- Double-Count received products
- Store received goods in designated areas as soon as possible
- Tidy up / Organize storage and shipping areas
- Order Assembly
- Utilize and pick customer orders prior to shipment pick up time, ensuring that the correct quantity and type of product is filled and documented.
- Coordinate well with Sales Department and/or other related departments about sales order, and troubleshooting if any
- Wrap, label, and transport finished orders to designated areas prior to loading the trucks.
- Book and arrange trucks for shipment pickup and delivery
- Load trucks by designed Itinerary as per provided documentation (Sales order sheets).
- Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Be customer oriented with extensive care to local customers as well as 3rd party transportation service providers when picking up their orders
- Pick up / drop off of product by company vehicle when required
- Order Assembly for Online Shop (azumatei)
- Order assembly
- Inventory / Lot monitoring
- Order drop off
- ERP Operation
- Be able to check inventory information
- Machine operation/maintenance
- Operate machinery (Narrow-reach & Powerjack) in a safe and controlled method
- Immediately report to supervisors/management level for any accidents, damage to product as well as any unusual discrepancies in customer order trends. Provide assist in further investigations and follow ups if necessary
- Maintain clean and orderly work area, while ensuring safety of TDC team and others.
- Clear the working area of any debris and garbage upon the completion of wok day.
Pre-requisites, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Computer skills
- Able to lift up to 60 lb
- Able to work under -20 degree Celsius for short periods of time (5 to 30 mins)
- Basic understanding of logistic related terms and able to work with freight forwarders for arranging international shipments
- Able to speak and/or understand Japanese or French, and/or understand Japanese food culture would be an asset
License, Certification Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s license
