    Is Plant-based same as Vegetarian?
    There are different types of Vegetarianism including Veganism. For our products, we use “Plant-based” to identify products that appeals to all levels of Vegetarians, as well as Flexitarians who are looking to reduce intake of animal derived products.

    How do I place order?
    Currently, our products are serviced through distributors for Wholesale/Foodservice customers only.   For Individual Restaurant Operators, please inquire to your preferred distributor, or give us a call and our friendly Sales team will be happy to assist in getting you connected to our products quickly.    For our Retail customers, some products are available online at www.azumatei.ca for delivery in Greater Toronto Area & Greater Vancouver Area.

    What type of Food safety protocol is Azuma Foods following?
    We follow a strict food safety system called FSSC22000. It is a 3rd party certification with auditing, that ensures safety of products in our operation during the entire product cycle.

    How did you make caviars so crunchy?
    Some caviars are naturally crunchy! Depending on species and egg maturity, some fish eggs are called Roe instead of Caviar. Roe tend to be smaller than 1cm size eggs and has soft paste texture.
